HAMA

The project stems from viewing the thirteen houses as a unified architectural system, avoiding a ensemble resulting from the simple repetition of autonomous units. The implementation follows the curved geometry of the plots and absorbs topographic variations through a continuous sequence of volumes, adjusted to the different conditions of access, orientation, and relationship with the public space. Placed over the main volumetry, a second facade plane consisting of vertical shading elements adds depth to the elevation, regulates solar incidence, ensures privacy, and establishes a common rhythm along the built front.

The internal organization develops from a clear articulation between social, private, and technical areas, with the relationship to the outdoors understood as an integral part of the dwelling's spatial structure. Patios, gardens, terraces, and rooftops extend the interior spaces, introducing natural light and ventilation while creating varying degrees of exposure and intimacy. Rather than residual elements, these outdoor spaces function as structuring voids, contributing to the visual and functional continuity between interior, architecture, and landscape.
